Meyer, Ronald
M.D.
Voted Top Pediatrician by 5280 Magazine in 1993. Dr. Meyer earned his undergraduate degree in pre-med from Columbia College in New York and his MD from Albany Medical College. He served residencies in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles; University of Colorado Medical School, Denver; and The Children's Hospital, Denver.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified. He is married with three grown children and enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, climbing and music. His philosophy:
" I want to provide a caring atmosphere and serve as a resource to guide and educate in addtion to providing support. I want to enable our infants, children and adolescents tor each their full potentials as capable human beings."
Bacon, Nicki
M.D.
Dr. Bacon earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
She graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with an M.D. in 1996. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, The Children's Hospital, Denver, Colorado. She is on staff at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, caring for newborns to young adults and is Board Certified.
Fudge-Erickson, Susan
M.D.
Dr. Fudge-Erickson was born and raised in Ohio. She went to Witttenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where she obtained a degree in plant biology. She went to Wright University for Medical School and this is where she met her husband Mark Erickson, M.D. They moved to Texas in July of 1994 for Mark's Pediatric Orthopaedic fellowship and have been in Denver since August of 1995. She and Mark have two children and two dogs and enjoy all that Denver has to offer. They love skiing, hiking, church, running, golf, softball and Denver's professional sports teams. Dr. Fudge-Erickson is Board Certified and is wonderful with young children and their parents.
Nagel, Shen
M.D.
Dr. Nagel has lived in Denver since starting his Pediatric Residency training at Children's Hospital/University of Colorado in 1996. Prior to moving here, and after growing up on the East coast, he spent nine years in California during his undergraduate degree at Stanford and medical school at UC-San Dieo. He is now quite attached to the Denver area, as it suits his love of the outdoors.
He enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, SCUBA diving, biking, running, swimming and basketball. He has two dogs who enjoy accompanying him on these treks. When stuck inside, a good book or crossword will often occupy his time.
He loves Pediatrics and getting to watch children grow up and families evolve. His goal as a Pediatrician is to make raising children as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
Frederick, Cynthia
M.D.
Dr. Frederick received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with an M.D. in 1985. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico, then practiced for 2 years in Farmington, N.M. She returned to Colorado in 1991 and has practiced in the Arvada/Wheat Ridge area since.
She is Board Certified, a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center (2002 thru 2003). She is married with 2 children and enjoys piano, camping, tennis and golf. The most exciting aspect of Pediatrics is the ability to partner with parents as their child travels through childhood and adolescence to become a healthy, successful adult.
Brazelton, Mike
M.D.
Dr. Mike is a California transplant who graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School prior to completing his residency in Pediatrics here in Denver. He has worked for Kaiser Permanente and the Children's Hospital of Denver prior to joining Pediatrics West. He is Pediatric Board Certified, a member of the AAP, and is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The University of Colorado in Denver.
Dr. Mike's sense of adventure has led him to volunteer for several medical misson trips in developing countries of Asia, Central and South America as well as working at homeless shelters here in Denver. He is passionate about bringing the message that good nutrition is the basis for good health and is a sought after speaker in the community regarding nutritional awareness of kids. "I think being a Pediatrician is the greatest job in the world. I have a unique chance to make a positive impact on a child's health and to influence lifelong habits. I try to make my patient visits upbeat and friendly for the kids as well as informative for the family." At home, Dr. Mike likes to travel and cook with his wife, monkey wrestle with his four kids, play and coach soccer, and enjoys many mountain sports and activites.
Faes, Debby

A third generation Coloradoan and a native Denverite, Debby graduated from CSU with a BS degree in Psychology and earned an MS from the University of Colorado School of Medicine Child Health Associate Program. She has practiced as a pediatric Physician Assistant for over 30 years and is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. As an associate professor for the Clinical Faculty of The Children's Hospital, Debby has mentored many physician assistant students and was voted "Outstanding Teacher of the Year" in 2003. Her areas of special interest include child development and adolescent medicine.
Debby enjoys traveling, hiking, Jazzercise, quilting, gardening and a bit of biking. She and her three dogs have served as volunteers in the pet therapy programs of both The Children's Hospital and Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. She also volunteers in the pediatric clinic at the Samaritan House, a shelter for homeless families. Debby and her husband have traveled extensively, but love Colorado more than any place.

Barringer, Betsy

Betsy grew up in Boulder and received her undergraduate degree in biology at CU Boulder. After working as a Medical Assistant for 10 years she returned to school and became a Physician Assistant through the Child Health Associate Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1991. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the Colorado Association for Physician Assistants.
Betsy likes hiking, traveling, and exercising. Most of all she loves spending time with her husband, son, and dog. Betsy's love of children led her to specialize in Pediatrics. "Every day brings a smile, laugh, and a new lesson."
Jundt, Dana

Dana was born and raised in the panhandle of Nebraska. She graduated from the West Nebraska School of Nursing in 1979 and relocated to Colorado that same year where she and her husband, Joe, have lived for all but three years. She worked as a registered nurse at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in pediatric inpatient, emergency, and management positions for more than 20 years before going back to graduate school to obtain her masters degree in advanced practice nursing. She graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2002, and has practiced as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since that time. She has worked for The Children's Hospital of Orange County Emergency Department in Orange, California and The Denver Children's Hospital Emergency Services in the past. She has two grown sons and one beautiful granddaughter. Her greatest love is spending time with her family but she also enjoys reading, travel, and third world medical mission work.
Dana feels honored to assist families through times of growth and illness. She loves watching children learn, and after more than 30 years of caring for children and their families, is continually amazed by the innocence of childhood.
Wimmer, Lindsey

Lindsey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1999. Shortly after, she moved to Colorado where she completed a Master of Science degree in Advanced Pediatric Nursing in 2002. She has worked in primary care since that time and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, traveling, golfing, and snow and water skiing. She is also very involved with, and passionate about, the Star Legacy Foundation for Stillbirth Research and Education, a non-profit organization that she and her husband founded in 2004.
Lindsey enjoys pediatrics because she feels the world is best viewed through the eyes of a child.

Dianne was born and raised in Illinois and graduated from nursing school there. She has had a variety of nursing experiences over the years, including emergency care, oncology home health, adult medicine and pediatrics. She has worked with Pediatrics West for the past 10 years as the telephone triage nurse.
She enjoys her time with her family, and enjoys working on her yard and pond, reading, walking, and travelling.
