About Sarah Torgerson NP
Sarah is a Kentucky native and has spent the majority of her life in the Eastern half of the United States. She attended nursing school at Sanford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Her nursing career included hospital work, community health, and urgent care. The most life-changing experience of her career was a 9-month commitment working at a mission hospital in the Republic of Congo, where she discovered her LOVE for pediatrics. She came home committed to spending the rest of her career working with kids. For nurse practitioner school, Sarah moved to Denver to attended the University of Colorado’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She loves emergency medicine, primary care, working abroad, and thinks five-year olds are perfect. Aside from medicine, Sarah enjoys running, being outside, sunshine, hot weather, drinking coffee, and spending time with her growing family. She is honored to join the team at Pediatrics West!
