As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 respiratory season, we would like to provide important updates regarding Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations. We will also be offering Beyfortus this season to infants ages newborn up to 8 months in efforts to protect against RSV. An additional message will be sent out to parents of patients within this age group.
Flu Vaccine
Pediatrics West has received our influenza vaccine supply and is now scheduling appointments for vaccine administration. This season, we will be offering the Sanofi Fluzone® Preservative-Free Influenza Vaccine. To help accommodate our patients, we will be hosting two large flu vaccine clinics:
- Saturday, October 10th, 2026
- Saturday, November 14th, 2026
Appointments are required. You can schedule via MyChart or by calling our office at 720-284-3700. Our theme this year will be Spiderman and Friends. Wear red to join in on the fun!
Please note that Urgent Care services will NOT be available on these dates so that we can dedicate our resources to vaccination efforts.
We will also be offering flu vaccine to parents and caregivers for a charge of $35. We do not bill parents insurance but will provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company if needed.
IMPORTANT SCHEDULING INFORMATION:
- We are utilizing MyChart to schedule your vaccine appointments as this will help with decrease wait times when calling the office.
- Only schedule one child per appointment slot for flu vaccine. (Unable to schedule for COVID-19 vaccine at this time)
- In the appointment note, please indicate which vaccines you would like your child to receive AND how many parents will be receiving flu, for example:
- FLU ONLY (plus how many parents for Flu)
This information is required to ensure that we have enough vaccine on hand for your child.
