About Vanessa Hoy NP

Vanessa considers herself a Colorado native since she moved to Westminster, CO, when she was 11 years old. Vanessa graduated with her nursing degree from Regis University in 2002 and was a nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHC) for 14 years before graduating from the University of Colorado with her advanced nursing degree in 2016. Vanessa has worked in the nurse practitioner role at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes and at the CHC emergency department before finding her new home here with Pediatrics West.

Vanessa enjoys being with her husband and two boys, who are very involved in sports. Time outside of work includes many baseball and basketball games. Vanessa enjoys catching a baseball game, drinking coffee, traveling, and reading a good historical fiction.

Why I am a Pediatric Provider?

I love working with children and their families in my community. Sharing in the upbringing of our future citizens and being supportive in any way I can is very rewarding work.

Fun Fact

I lived in England prior to moving to Colorado when my father was in the Air Force. We moved around every year until finally settling in Colorado in 1991.
